Trump comments on Reiner’s death
Now US President Donald Trump is commenting on director Rob Reiner and his wife Michele Singer being found dead in their home in Los Angeles.
In a post on Truth Social, he expresses sadness over the death but at the same time directs harsh criticism at Reiner and accuses him of having suffered from “Trump Derangement Syndrome”.
“He was known for driving people INSANE with his raging obsession with President Donald J. Trump, with his apparent paranoia reaching new heights as the Trump administration surpassed all goals and expectations of greatness — and with America’s Golden Age upon us, perhaps like never before,” the president writes.
Rob Reiner, 78, was a Democrat and a frequent critic of Donald Trump. In a 2017 interview, for example, he said he believed Trump was “mentally unfit” to be president.
