At around 8:30 p.m. on Saturday, the police received a call about a person in Solberga in southern Stockholm who had a weapon-like object.

– People out to try to shoot other people, says police spokesperson Daniel Wikdahl.

The plaintiffs are a taxi driver and a person who traveled with the taxi. As far as is known, no shots were fired, and the taxi left the scene.

– We have contact with the taxi driver. The person who went with has disappeared. We are looking for that person, says Daniel Wikdahl.

The police have searched with a dog and a helicopter but have not found the suspect.

The incident is classified as attempted murder and aggravated weapons offences.

– We don’t really know what happened, whether it was a sharp weapon that clicked or whether it was a dummy. Since we don’t know, we are working on the basis that it is a sharp weapon.
