The hunting tick does not wait for its prey, but chases you for several hundred meters. In addition, it can carry a deadly hemorrhagic fever virus.
The tick has been found in several places in Europe – including Sweden. Professor Ali Mirazimi thinks we need to be prepared that the virus can also be found here.
