DENVER. Here are the photos that sent chills throughout the NFL.
Jayden Daniel’s elbow was completely dislocated and the star’s season is anything but.
– Terrible, says head coach Dan Quinn.
The Washington Commanders were completely overrun by the Seattle Seahawks in Sunday’s late game and with just over seven minutes left to play they were down 13-38.
Nevertheless, head coach Dan Quinn chose to keep his starters on the field.
Then the inevitable happened.
Gathered in a ring
Superstar Jayden Daniels was tackled by Seahawks linebacker Drake Thomas and as he tried to catch the fall, his entire left arm buckled and his elbow dislocated.
Visibly shocked teammates rallied around their quarterback and dropped to their knees — then Daniels was helped off the field with his elbow immobilized.
“Why?”
Afterwards, criticism was directed at Jayden Daniels – who has had several injuries this season – remaining on the field despite being down 31 points with just minutes left to play.
– The first thing I thought was: Why is he still on the pitch? I understand that you want to play until the end of the game, but given his injury history, it feels completely unreasonable. I really feel for Jayden Daniels and with Washington Commanders fans. This is demoralizing, said Robert Griffin III, the former Washington quarterback whose career was ruined by injuries.
Now, it wasn’t the throwing arm (his right) that broke, but most things still say that the season is over for Jayden Daniels.
Last year, he took his Washington Commanders to the conference finals for the first time in 33 years.
Now you are 3-6 after nine games and will find it difficult to even go to the playoffs.
