Instead, the Sports Committee in the City of Stockholm will tear up the decision from 2016 to scrap the arena and make a new decision. It may be that the arena from 1953 is preserved or the decision is made that a new ice hockey arena be built on the site.
– I’m very happy. It feels really big and wonderful that the court remains longer than planned, says Maria-Elsa Salvo (S), chair of the sports committee, to Aftonbladet.
