We love to believe in the myth of genius.

So-called “geniuses” have been taken far too seriously over the years. But have we now reached a point where people who think differently are needed more than ever?

“Geniuses are like thunder,” wrote the Danish philosopher Sören Kirkegaard. “They move against the wind, frighten people and clear the air.”
