The inclement weather lingers at the beginning of the week, but from the south the Spanish heat creeps up towards Sweden. 

Soon the sun and heat will sweep in and offer top notes for the year.

The gray clouds will remain over Sweden at the beginning of next week. Small low pressure dominates in both the northern and southern parts and temperatures will remain around a cool 15 degrees.

But then it turns. A high pressure system is moving up from southern Europe and will reach Götaland and western Svealand on Wednesday. As the weekend approaches, the thermometer will climb above 20 degrees.

– On Saturday there is a chance of temperatures above 25 degrees south of Stockholm, says Susanne Moen Olsen.

Sweden will not experience the extreme temperatures seen in Spain, where in some areas it has reached as much as 40 degrees.

The highest forecasts for the weekend show up to 28 degrees, which is unusually warm for the beginning of June.
