A man and a woman are suspected of murder and the man has been remanded in custody.
According to information provided to Aftonbladet, the dead person is a woman who was found in a lake. Police spokesman Robert Sennerdal does not confirm that it is a lake, but says:
– Yesterday we carried out investigative measures on suspicion of a serious crime. Today we can say that it is a suspicion of murder.
Arrested before the body was found
The suspect is said to be a relative of the dead woman, while the suspect is his partner, according to Aftonbladet.
The man is in his 30s and has no previous convictions for any serious crimes. He was arrested on Wednesday, the day before the body was found. According to information provided to the newspaper, the initial suspicion was kidnapping.
Both the man and the woman are suspects at the higher level of suspicion. According to the prosecutor, the murder was committed sometime between June 12 and 17 in Danderyd.
