An ice belt will cut through Norrland during the weekend.

Now SMHI warns of lightning strikes.

“Drive carefully and adjust your speed”, writes the meteorological institute.

On the night of Saturday, rain is expected that can freeze on the roads, which risks causing traffic problems.

Therefore, SMHI is now issuing a yellow warning for sudden ice slippage from the Västerbotten coast down to the Norwegian border in Dalarna.
