It is slippery on the roads around the country.
In Västra Götaland, the police have issued a warning to road users, after several accidents were reported.
“Traffic drivers are asked to slow down, keep their distance and exercise caution in traffic,” the police write.
Cooler weather leads to slicker roads. Now the police are warning of lightning strikes in the entire Västra Götaland county.
Alarms have come in about several slip-related accidents around the Borås and Ulricehamns area during the night and morning, as well as on the E6, national highway 45 and around Kungälv, according to the police. It should not be a serious accident.

“There is good reason to exercise caution throughout Region West”, they write on their website and urge motorists to drive more slowly and keep a proper distance.
According to the Swedish Transport Administration, difficult road conditions prevail in almost the entire county.
Elsewhere in the country, there is a risk of troublesome law. Among other things north of Stockholm, out towards Vaxholm and up towards Norrtälje. The same applies on the E4 from Umeå up towards Lövånger, and in Småland on the same road between Markaryd and Värnamo.
