Shots fired at house door – masked man fled
Someone has shot at the front door of a villa in Segeltorp south of Stockholm.
A masked man was seen fleeing after the shooting – a major police chase is now underway.
The alarm about the shooting in Segeltorp in Huddinge municipality came at 7:35 p.m. on Thursday.
– We then received information that shots had been fired at the front door of a residence and that a masked man had then run away, says police spokesperson Anna Westberg.
The home that was shot at is a villa. The incident is being classified as a felony weapon offense and attempted murder. Anna Westberg initially did not comment on whether anyone was home, but noted that no one was injured.
– We have an ongoing operation with several different resources – dog patrol, helicopter and others – searching for the perpetrator.
About possible motives, Anna Westberg says:
