The express revealed flaws in the working environment at “Rix Morronzoo”.
Now the former presenter Sara Haddad, 28, comes forward and talks about her time on the morning show:
“My well-being had to pay a high price,” she writes in a post on Instagram.
In Expressen’s previous review, eleven people with access to the radio show “Rix Morronzoo” testified about an unhealthy work environment.
People who have had good insight into the program for several years told about power games, ostracism and a culture of silence where few dared to speak out.
Several pointed out the award-winning anchor and assistant program manager Roger Nordin as driving the problems. At the same time, harsh criticism was directed at the company’s management, which according to information knew about the problems for a long time without acting.
– For the managers, money and high listening numbers come before the working environment, said one of the people Expressen spoke to.
Roger Nordin got his big break when he became part of “Rix Morronzoo”, then together with Titti Schultz and Gert Fylking.

Laila Bagge debuted on television as one of the jury members in “Idol” and has since established herself as both an entrepreneur and radio profile.

Viaplay markets “Rix Morronzoo” itself as “Sweden’s biggest morning show”.
For over eight years now, the program has been led by the radar couple Laila Bagge and Roger Nordin, together with a small team of producers, assistants and editors.
Now, for the first time, a former employee comes forward and talks about his time at the channel.

At the end of last year, Sara Haddad was forced to quit as presenter and program coordinator after over 2.5 years at Viaplay.
“Your question marks about my absence from radio have not diminished over time and your strong reactions mean that I can no longer avoid the fact that you deserve an answer and clarity coming from me,” she writes in a post on Instagram.
“I am leaving my role as presenter with sadness but at the same time I am relieved,” she continues.
In the post, Sara Haddad goes into her own experience of the work environment at “Rix Morronzoo”.
“For me, it was an environment that was not sustainable and my well-being had to pay a high price. An environment where actions do not lead to consequences is not a healthy place for anyone.”
She also explains why she chose silence – until now.
“My silence was never a choice, but a survival strategy. I chose that path to protect my future, but lost myself along the way.”

Expressen’s review last year of the work environment provoked strong reactions internally.
An internal investigation was added and large meetings were held at the editorial office for all of Viaplay radio – which includes radio channels such as Rix FM, Lugna Favoriter and Bandit.
There, several radio profiles put pressure on the management.
“Be honest”
When Expressen reached Sara Haddad, she did not want to give any further comments beyond her post.
But when asked why she had not previously commented on the work environment, she replies:

– My aim is just to be honest and give an answer to all the listeners who have contacted me and asked why I’m not around.
Viaplay’s answer
Expressen has been in contact with Susanne Nylén, press manager at Viaplay, which owns Rix FM, who says the following about the accusations:
“It is true that Sara Haddad had a consulting contract that expired. Since last autumn, we have undergone a major reorganization where various roles have changed. The well-being of our staff is of the utmost importance to us, however, we do not comment on further issues relating to possible personnel matters, whether it concerns permanent employees or consultants, but it is handled internally,” she writes in a text message.
Expressen has contacted the presenters Laila Bagge and Roger Nordin for a comment.
