In SD member Göran Hargestam’s Nazi hideout there was a swastika trophy, “Mein Kampf” from 1933 and idol pictures of Hitler.
Now S is reacting to Expressen’s disclosure.
– There is a pattern in Jimmie Åkesson’s party, says Teresa Carvalho.
Göran Hargestam (SD) forgot the Nazi collection in his former office.

Göran Hargestam sits in the Riksdag for SD and previously had an office in central Valdemarsvik. After selling the property, a few boxes remained, and Expressen was able to tell you about the contents on Thursday.
In addition to campaign material for the SD and other papers, there was a range of Nazi items. Among them are two copies of Hitler’s “Mein Kampf”, from 1933 and 1939 respectively. There is also a tribute to the Nazi German military power and a trophy with a swastika and an eagle that pays tribute to a sergeant in the German air force.
The S requirement: Mark clearly
The revelation causes Teresa Carvalho, legal policy spokesperson for S, to react.
– This weekend, Nazis marched in the capital’s streets and now Expressen reports that yet another Sweden Democratic Member of Parliament is said to have a romanticized relationship with Nazism, she says in a comment.
These are not isolated incidents but a “pattern in Jimmie Åkesson’s party”, according to her.
Now she is making demands on the prime minister.
– I expect Ulf Kristersson to clearly mark against this. Silence is not neutrality – silence is normalization, she says.
The answer: Historical interest
When Göran Hargestam is confronted with the collection and gets to see a picture of the swastika trophy, he says:
– I do not deny that it is mine and I do not say that I know that it is mine either.
He says that he has had an interest in military history and plans to write a book, something that, however, did not materialize.
– Everyone who knows me knows that I figure nowhere in any way, in any context that could be troublesome, he says.
