– It is to be able to search more broadly, says Martin Öhman, police area manager to the channel.

18-year-old Hanna has been missing since January 6, when she was last seen in central Uddevalla.

On Wednesday, the police launched a massive search effort, after clothes believed to belong to the woman were found in an exercise area a short distance outside Uddevalla.

Among other things, they have searched with helicopters, drones, dogs and patrols. The Swedish Armed Forces and Missing people are also connected.

There is nothing concrete to indicate that a crime has been committed. The police say they have drawn up a report of murder to get more powers.

– It is to further open our toolbox to be able to search even wider and deeper for the missing person, says Martin Öhman to P4.
