A requested remand for the poisonings at the hospital
Four employees at the children’s clinic at the University Hospital in Uppsala fell ill quickly over a ten-day period.
The suspicion is that they were poisoned.
On Friday, one person was arrested in the case but on the lower level of suspicion – but that has changed.
– After the weekend’s investigative measures, I have made a new assessment and now the suspicions have been strengthened, says Emma Häggström in a press release.
Both the suspect and the crime victims were heard over the weekend, according to TT. The suspect refused a lawyer, but still got a public defender.
Now the person has been requested to be detained. The crime classification is attempted murder.
