Liz Truss is back! For all of you who may have missed her…. the woman who has been hailed by some as a feminist role model (in the sense that she proves that even women who have no idea what they’re doing can be elevated to the highest positions of power!) was Prime Minister of the United Kingdom for just 44 days.

Truss managed to crash the British government bond market with a so-called “mini-budget” (with some help from the peculiarities of the British pension system) in the fall of 2022. And now that Donald Trump, with what is anything but a “mini-budget” (Trump’s giant budget is over 1,000 pages long…), is causing the market for US government bonds to rumble, Truss has been out and about offering unsolicited advice to the US president.
