Won 26 million on Lotto – still haven’t heard back

On Saturday, a Swedish player won SEK 26 million on the Lotto Dream Win – but on Sunday Svenska spel still had not caught the person.
– I think I called four or five times during the evening yesterday, but then it started beeping busy, so I guess the person has blocked me, says Sofie Hodén, communicator at Svenska spel.
She has also tried to reach the winner via email.
– We hope that the person will get in touch, otherwise we will send a letter – but the letter route is not that fast, she says.
The prize is not paid out until Svenska spel has contacted the winner.
– This is quite unusual, but it happens from time to time, says Hodén.
Last summer, for example, a Swedish player collected 409 million Eurojackpot, but it took several days before Svenska spel got hold of him.
