A 26-year-old man has been internationally wanted for a long time for a double murder in Malmö.
According to the prosecutor in the case, the man died in a hospital in Lebanon, Sydsvenskan reports.
– Yesterday (December 29) the Lebanese officially confirmed that he is dead. He must have died on Christmas Day, says prosecutor Magnus Pettersson to the newspaper.
It was on July 14 last year that two people were found dead in a burned-out car in an industrial area in Malmö. Shortly afterwards, two Britons were reported missing in Sweden.
A month later, the prosecutor announced that it was the two Britons found in the burned-out car.
