But they don’t socialize in private.
– We are not personal friends, says the Prime Minister.

In the Moderates’ podcast “Ring the Prime Minister” Ulf Kristersson receives questions from callers.
One of them is about the relationship with SD leader Jimmie Åkesson. Are he and Kristersson friends?
– We are not personal friends, Kristersson begins.
Nor is it necessary, he states.
– I don’t think you need or maybe even should be personal friends when you work in politics with joint projects.
That’s how many beers he drinks
On the other hand, Kristersson believes that they have good cooperation within the framework of the Tidö Agreement.
– It is a professional collaboration. I think that works well. Sometimes we also think a little differently, and then we say so too. That’s how I think politics should work.
In the podcast, he also reveals how many beers he drinks on a Saturday night.
– I’m not a big beer drinker, but if I do it on a Saturday night, I’ll probably drink one – possibly two. And I almost always drink ipa.
The questions, which in the episode also deal with shortened working hours and men’s violence against women, are asked according to the Moderates by people selected by an “external editor and producer”.
