Karson Kuhlman to Rögle
Rögle is bringing a hefty dose of NHL routine to the team.
Forward Karson Kuhlman, 29, is ready for the Ängelholmslaget.
Kuhlman has played a total of 164 NHL games, including the regular season and playoffs, with 34 points.
He most recently comes from Finnish Lukko where he scored 46 points, 21 goals and 25 assists, in 60 regular season games.
”Dutiful”
The contract with Rögle extends through the upcoming season.
– Karson brings a lot of experience, including a season in Europe. He is a multi-faceted player who can contribute in all forms of play. He is committed and good at finding pucks and points around the offensive goal cage, says sports director Hampus Sjöström to the club’s website.
In the NHL he has played for the Boston Bruins, Seattle Kraken and Winnipeg Jets.
Kuhlman is Rögle’s second NHL-qualified new acquisition in a short time. Earlier this week, they signed defenseman Mark Friedman with 99 NHL games under his belt.
