Hung each other up in the forest – with hooks in their backs

The police were called on Sunday to a strange alarm, reports Västerbottens-Kuriren.

Several people hung each other up in the air with hooks right into their flesh.

It was on Sunday afternoon that the police received a call about something disturbing in the Umedalen district of Umeå.

According to the caller, a group of people were hanging each other in the air by attaching hooks to the flesh on their backs. This is reported by Västerbottens-Kuriren, which has also spoken to a person who drove past the scene.

– It’s one of the sickest things I’ve ever experienced. Near the pit in Umedalen, there’s a gang that hoists each other up with hooks that are attached directly to the flesh of their backs, the person tells the newspaper.

“Make sure everything is voluntary”

The same person states that the group had built a fire at the scene and that everything was “calm and tidy” – apart from the fact that they hung each other up in the air.

– I don’t know if this is allowed because it’s an art form, but I’m very questionable about it considering how many children are roaming around the area, says the person.

The police told Västerbottens-Kuriren on Sunday evening that they would go to the scene to “ensure that everything is voluntary.”

– Since we have received calls about it and it seems to be deviant behavior that the public has reacted to, we will go there and check it out. It is unclear whether there will be any case, a regional command officer tells the newspaper.
