Halloween time usually means dressing up.

Henrik Lundqvist, 43, has taken that seriously.

The hockey icon appeared as a character from the movie “Slap shot” in TNT’s NHL studio.

Lundqvist, who is a hockey expert in American TNT by day, took the opportunity as Halloween is now approaching.

During the night’s NHL studio, the Swede appeared dressed up in the broadcast, together with his colleagues.

The Halloween costumes refer to the movie “Slap shot”, which came out in 1977.

The studio members appeared as “The Hanson brothers”, who are the main characters of the comedy. The brothers are a hockey-playing trio, who are successful in the Charlestown Chiefs team thanks to their violent style of play.

The film is described today as a cult classic in the United States.

Worked as an expert for several seasons

Henrik Lundqvist has worked as an expert in TNT’s hockey studio for several years.

When Sportbladet interviewed Lundqvist this summer about his job, the icon pointed out that they “are a good group at TNT”.

– It’s a lot of fun, but it can’t be compared to playing by yourself. I have no pressure on me. If I cut myself at some point, it can be tanned afterwards. I couldn’t do that if I conceded five goals at the Garden, he said then.
