Fled Sweden after Molly’s death – now the drug dealer is arrested
Molly Gnospelius, 14, died after taking tramadol and drinking alcohol.
Now the 18-year-old who is suspected of having sold the pills to her has returned to Sweden – and been arrested, local media reports.
It was at a party just over two years ago that 14-year-old Molly Gnospelius from Falun took tramadol and drank alcohol.
Molly later fell asleep in her bed, but never woke up.
The now 19-year-old man who is suspected of having sold the drugs to her then fled abroad, was requested to be arrested in his absence and was wanted internationally.
The trial was supposed to be held last fall, but was postponed.
But now the 19-year-old has returned to Sweden.
According to his lawyer, the return was voluntary. Today he was remanded in custody at Falu District Court, where he is charged with aggravated manslaughter and several counts of drug offenses.
According to local media, the 19-year-old admits to selling the pills but denies being guilty of gross negligence causing the death of another person.
