Father of two Mattias Klint’s heart stopped in his sleep.
Now he is mourned by his family and friends.
– We have to fight, that’s how it is, says the children’s mother Patthamaporn Piwjan.
Mattias Klint worked as a software developer and ran Gymbolaget in Tannefors. Alongside his work, his great interest was his two children – and fitness. At the end of November, he would have represented Sweden in the fitness WC in Saudi Arabia, writes Corren.
At half past twelve on the evening of November 13, he spoke to the children’s mother, Patthamaporn Piwjan, on the phone before going to bed.
– In the morning he had passed away. It’s a lot of work. It was my children who found him, she tells Expressen.
According to the police, the cause of death is a heart attack.
– He trained, he had no illnesses, says Piwjan.

“You can hug them”
He was buried in Linköping at the beginning of December. Patthamaporn Piwjan says she and the children are having a tough time.
– It is very difficult, especially for my children. You can hug them. But I also have to work, invoices have to be paid. You are forced to move on and take responsibility. It’s really tough.
The children have been in contact with child psychologists who help them. Friends, both of Patthamaporn and of Mattias have been and are important in their support for the family.
– Mattias was very considerate. He was good at encouraging people and helping others. He was a good person, and very smart.
Emelie Wahlström was one of Mattias Klint’s closest friends and is one of those who was there for the family.
– Some describe him as a legend in the Swedish fitness sport, she tells Corren.
