New American attack in the Caribbean
The United States has directed another attack on a boat in the Caribbean Sea off the coast of Venezuela, CBS News reports, citing sources.
Several people are said to have survived the attack, but it is still unclear how many.
It is the sixth US attack on a boat in the area in the past month. Since the beginning of September, Washington has attacked what it calls “drug boats” off the coast of Venezuela. In the previous five attacks, at least 27 people are said to have been killed.

– I have never been involved in the editorial decisions at Riks and today it is an independent channel, but there have been harsh voices from all sides.
– I don’t think it’s a reasonable way to talk about political opponents, I don’t think so, says the SD leader.
Anna-Karin Hatt’s decision to resign as leader of the Center Party due to hatred, threats and today’s social climate is “surprising” and “sad”.

Mohamsson responds to the M anger about the SD decision
It was at the end of last week that the Liberal party leader Simona Mohamsson, Minister of Education and Integration, decided that the party’s previous no to SD ministers after 2026 stands.
The announcement triggered great irritation, not least within the Moderates, and has been described as a move that played away Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson’s best card in the fight for government power.
– I don’t understand the outrage, says Simona Mohamsson.
– We are doing something that is customary in all Western countries, that you want to go to elections to be re-elected in the government you have today. I don’t understand how it can stir up so many emotions.
