When Daniel Nannskog, 51, came to Norway, he was shocked.
In front of Princess Märtha Louise, he goes wild on Norwegian food.
– They eat sandwiches like that and then there was some sweaty brown cheese and stuff and you just eh?! he says in the SVT program Carina Bergfeldt.

The Swedish football profile ended his playing career with six seasons in Norwegian Stabaek.
Apart from one season in China, Nannskog had only played club football in Sweden at the time – and when he came to Norway he was not impressed.
At least not of the food.
– The food is deplorable in Norway. Or deplorable and deplorable, we can say it is not good, he says in the program.
Lots of slices of bread in a shed
Next to him on the sofa sits the Norwegian princess Märtha Louise. Nannskog goes on to tell when he came to Norway for the first time.
– I’m coming to Norway and then we’ll enter one barracks. So it’s a small shed and inside there are lots of slices of bread. Then I think no, we shouldn’t do this because then we can’t perform as sportsmen. We have to have pasta and stuff. But they eat sandwiches like that and then there was some sweaty brown cheese and stuff and you just eh?!
However, Nannskog’s son seems to have taken a liking to Norwegian delicacies.
– My son was born in Oslo. He forces me to buy the brown cheese, but I agree, because it is also expensive.
