Carl-Oskar Bohlin's attack on S: More games than solutions

The Social Democrats are considering who should be appointed as the main opponent in the election.

It has made the Moderates see red.

– The Social Democrats think more about political games than about presenting solutions to social problems, says Carl-Oskar Bohlin, Minister for Civil Defence.

Magdalena Andersson’s circle is currently discussing who or who should be singled out as her main opponent in the upcoming election campaign, Expressen could reveal on Thursday.

Traditionally it has been the Moderates, but in recent years that principle has been shaken and it is now being considered whether it is the Sweden Democrats that S should primarily target. Internally, it is also discussed who S thinks should be invited to prime ministerial duels on television.

The action has not gone unnoticed within the Moderates, where the outrage is now great.

Tramps

Carl-Oskar Bohlin is one of those who are angry.

– The Social Democrats were fooling it in this way during the last election as well.

It is telling that S thinks more about political games than presenting solutions to social problems, he believes.

– The Social Democrats might think about the fact that it is reality that is their biggest opponent. During their eight years in power, they entered into an agreement with a number of other parties that really only aimed to secure social democratic power.

The Minister for Civil Defense also believes that it is a little telling that Magdalena Andersson is sitting in her chamber and thinking about her opponents at the same time as Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson (M) concludes an agreement with Ukraine on 100-150 Jas Gripen planes.

– We try to solve real problems. We are trying to solve the security situation in our surrounding world, says Bohlin.

He laughs a little at the fact that S is also thinking about who the right-wing prime ministerial candidate is. According to Carl-Oskar Bohlin, it is of course Ulf Kristersson.

That S is thinking along these lines, he believes, may be due to the fact that Andersson would rather have a different opponent than the Prime Minister in the TV duels, he believes.

– She always loses the debates against Ulf Kristersson, it shows in pretty much every measurement when they have met.

“Shifting focus”

Foreign Minister Maria Malmer Stenergard has also been upset after Expressen’s article about the internal S process.

Over the photocopier on Sveavägen, where Magdalena Andersson stands and copies the Moderates’ meeting documents and proposals, the S leadership discusses whether it is M or SD who are their main opponents. This is to shift the focus from the fact that Nooshi Dadgostar and Morgan Johansson are intended candidates as finance minister and foreign minister respectively in Andersson’s team”, she writes on X.
