A police operation is underway in a residential area in Boden.
According to Aftonbladet’s information, it is a serious violent crime and several people are injured.
– We have an ongoing case there about a serious incident, says police spokesperson Åsa Mjörndal.
The police were called to the scene, a residential area in Boden, at 12 o’clock on Christmas Day.
– It’s been a case since 12 o’clock today, but I can’t say more about this at the moment, says police spokesperson Åsa Mjörndal.
According to Aftonbladet’s information, several people are injured. Region Norrbotten confirms that people have been taken to hospital, but not how many or how badly injured they are, writes DN.
A suspected perpetrator must have been shot by the police, according to information to Aftonbladet.
The police are very secretive about the circumstances, but do not consider the incident to be one for the public.
Just before 3 p.m., the police were still on the scene.
