“Be careful” weather this weekend – colder until midsummer

The “be careful” weather has reached Sweden and tomorrow 25 degrees is expected in several places.

But the heat looks like it will be short-lived, because already on Sunday colder air will move in.

– It would have been better if it was midsummer this weekend, says meteorologist Per Holmberg. News, reports and analyses in Sweden and the rest of the world.

Over the weekend, high pressure will move in over the country and it looks like it will be really warm for the time of year.

– On Saturday it will be sunny across most of the country. It looks like it will be around 25 degrees in general in central and southern Sweden, says Per Holmberg, meteorologist at Stormgeo.

The warmest weather is expected to be in Västra Götaland and the inner parts of southern Norrland, with temperatures reaching up to 30 degrees.

“You have to take the opportunity to enjoy”

Unfortunately, the people of Norrbotten look like they will miss out on the bad weather.

– There it won’t be more than 15 to 20 degrees, although it can be warmer in the far south, says Per Holmberg.

But the high summer heat won’t last long. It’s important to pack swimwear and sunscreen this weekend for those who want to take advantage of the weather.

– You can take the opportunity to enjoy it. During Sunday evening, clouds will come in from the west with showers and possible thunderstorms in some places. It is significantly colder air, says Holmberg.

This is what the midsummer weather will be like

The cold front will likely persist into next week and, to the chagrin of all heat lovers, it is expected to be relatively cool during midsummer.

– In the northern parts of the country, the weather is unstable with a risk of rain. To the south, there are better chances of sunshine with temperatures just above 20 degrees at the highest, says Holmberg.
