Argentina Votes on State Budget in Historic Election

For the first time since President Javier Milei took office in 2023, the Argentine parliament has approved a state budget.

The 2026 budget was voted through in the Senate on Friday local time and predicts GDP growth of 5 percent. In addition, annual inflation is expected to fall to 10.1 percent.
