After the Netflix success, Amanda Romare makes a new television series with her sister Adina.
– We discovered that we had many guys in our lives who were a little lost and struggled with the same stuff we do, really, says Adina Romare.

In September, Netflix released the TV series based on Amanda Romare’s book “Half Malmö consists of guys who dumped me”. Now it is clear that Amanda and Adina Romare are making a new series, this time for SVT with intended premiere 2027.
“Raw Dog” will start being recorded next year with Carl-Petter Montell as director, who also writes the script with the sisters Romare.
Young men
“Half Malmö …” portrayed Amanda Romare’s adventure in the dating jungle. This time it is about young men in their 20s, who are struggling with their identity.
– When I look at our brothers and our boyfriends, I can sometimes feel that they strive so hard to want to be someone else. But that they then suffocate some of their feelings inside to try to fit into the “Moderna-man template”, says Amanda Romare.
This applies both when it comes to politics and values, but also what you turn on.
– Now I’m not talking about Andrew Tate, or something like that. I love PK, but I can still see a problem when you sometimes have to pretend something you are not, says Amanda Romare.
“Half Gothenburg …”?
A large part of the inspiration comes from the sisters’ half -brothers Owen and Erik. Unlike “Half Malmö …”, “Raw Dog” is played out in Gothenburg where the brothers in the series move together, but have different great success in the dating life.
Amanda Roman is careful to point out that “Raw Dog” should not be seen as a sequel.
– Our brothers will not agree that it is some kind of “half Gothenburg …” they see this as an independent series.
