“Confident of his own excellence”
During childhood, he showed good self-confidence, the relative says.
– He saw himself as very successful. He had plans to become a pilot and was outwardly very confident in his own excellence.
It wasn’t just about an inflated self-image, according to her. He could have gone far in life if he had made other choices.
– He could have succeeded in anything.
But she experienced early on that everything was not right in the family. She was upset that he was allowed to watch violent films already at the age of ten. There was also an unpleasant jargon where they joked about murder and dead people.

It has happened – the murder in Rönninge

– I felt that I had to talk to him: a young lost person who has done something so bad. He came to us. A completely ordinary guy, but he didn’t take responsibility for his crime. You felt he was manipulative.
“Couldn’t take it in”
The explanation for the crime that he gave her is about the same as in court.
– He was so destroyed by the fact that the family did not get help from society. Then he wanted to commit a crime. He had intended to rob some pub, but then this turned up instead. It could not be absorbed.

She felt that she could not bear to have contact with him.
But a couple of years later he came to visit again, when she was alone. It was when he was working as a truck driver.
– Then I was a little scared. But he was just like regular Robin. Nice, easy to talk to.
“I don’t understand how they let this person out”
In December 2025, he contacted her again, but she wrote in a text message that she did not want to have contact.
From what she has heard, he met other relatives a week before Christmas. He will then not have seen them for four years.
– He then behaved completely normally. A week before this deed, says the relative.
In the days between, she heard that a woman had been murdered in Rönninge.
– With the crime he had committed, there was no possibility that he would not relapse. I don’t understand how they let this person out.
