Minor bit police in Katrineholm
At 2:12 p.m. the police go out to take care of a minor in a residential building in Katrineholm. The minor was to be taken to a residence by the police but became defiant.
– When we have to carry out the care, this minor becomes aggressive and that connects more people to the scene, people who know this minor, says Martina Gradian, spokesperson for the police.
A handful of police patrols are then called to the scene together with an ambulance.
– We need to secure our work environment and take stock of any situations that arise, says Martina Gradian.
A police officer was injured. Another person who connected complained of pains, but according to the police they should be unrelated to the operation.
– The minor has tried to harm the police patrols and seems to have bitten a police officer, among other things. The police have been checked in hospital and are doing well under the circumstances, says Martina Gradian.
The minor is suspected of violence against an official and violent resistance. The person has now been taken into custody. The effort lasted until 3:30 p.m.
