Well-filled water reservoirs resulted in record low electricity prices in northern Sweden during the summer.
“Limited transmission capacity from north to south causes power to be locked up in northern Sweden and resulted in record low prices during June,” says Energiföretagen’s analyst Magnus Thorstensson in a comment.
