Not according to the users of this hack for better sleep on the plane.

But the good sleep can be devastating, experts warn.

For many travelers, squeezing in a few hours of sleep during long flights is easier said than done.

When neck pillows, earplugs and blindfolds are not enough, people on social media have shown a trick for a more comfortable position.

By fastening the feet with the belt, a number of people claim that they sleep better.

However, several people testify that the measure is not always appreciated by the flight staff, and that they have been asked to relax their legs.

A psychiatrist the New York Post spoke to also warns that the trick can have life-threatening consequences.

– It is life-threatening because the legs are kept in such a tightly compressed position, Carole Lieberman tells the newspaper and urges everyone to stop using the method.

It can lead to serious blood clots that can lead to life-threatening conditions.
