Last summer, the parties, in the pension group, agreed that part of the surplus in the system should be distributed if it exceeds a certain level. There will be a so-called gas in the system – previously there was only one brake.
The brakes have hit a few times, when the Swedish economy became more fragile and the debts exceeded the assets. The gas will, starting in 2027, cause a part of the surplus that arises in good years to be distributed to the pensioners and also strengthen the envelopes of future pensioners.
