The reason is spelled increased taxes, reports The Sun.

Fury, who has seven children with his wife Paris, 36, lives in a mansion worth eight million pounds, around 100 million kroner.

The two-time world heavyweight champion is moving after Britain’s Chancellor of the Exchequer Rachel Reeves’ sweeping tax package unveiled at the end of November.

It affects the country’s wealthy and, among other things, by introducing a new tax on mansions worth more than £2 million. Tyson and Paris Fury and their family have for several years lived in Morecambe in Lancashire, where their property is valued at over £2 million.

Have looked at schools

According to a 2024 report by wealth management company Equiom, tax residency in the Isle of Man can be established by spending “six months in the Isle of Man in a tax year or an average of more than 90 days per tax year for four consecutive years”, writes The Sun.

A source tells the British tabloid that Tyson Fury has told friends he has moved to the island.

– He is very fond of the Isle of Man and has told residents there that he is looking forward to making it his home. The couple has also been looking at schools in the area for their youngest children, the source said.

10,000 millionaires left last year

The newspaper has sought Tyson and Paris Fury. Fury is reported to be good for 160 million pounds, corresponding to just under two billion kroner at today’s exchange rate.

But he is not the only wealthy Briton to have left Britain. Earlier this year, the BBC wrote that 10,000 millionaires left Britain after Labour’s new tax rules were introduced.
