When the 100-year-old woman raised the alarm about Shakir Mahmoud Shakir, more suspicions were unraveled.
At least three women have complained of being victimized by the rapist.

Domestic worker Shakir Mahmoud Shakir was sentenced to four years in prison for raping a 100-year-old woman.
When the investigation began, it emerged that there had been several alarms. One case led to Shakir being charged with another rape, of which he was acquitted in the district court. Another woman with home care did not want to report to the police.

Shakir Mahmoud Shakir from the home service had come home to the 100-year-old woman in Stockholm when the rape was committed in early October. The woman said she screamed for him to stop, but the abuse continued.
The next day, she told her daughter and a person from home health care about what had happened, according to the investigation.
– I noticed on the first day that it was catastrophic, she cried and was very sad, says the person from the home health care in questioning.
Both he and the daughter contacted the managers within the home care service and Shakir Mahmoud Shakir was taken on sick leave shortly afterwards and later suspended. Although there were reports of more incidents, it was initially unknown how serious the allegations were.

Didn’t want to tell at first
The formal police report was only made on October 22 after the daughter had several conversations with the home service. It was then that the police learned that there were several suspicions against the man.
– There are three people in total who have been victimized by him, one said that he was inappropriate and unpleasant, but sees the same pattern that he must have tried. Then one who may have been subjected to the same abuse, but does not want to tell, says the manager in the interrogation.
The latter case led to Shakir Mahmoud Shakir being charged with another rape in September. The 94-year-old woman initially just wanted to say that a man from the home service had been “mean and rude”.
– I don’t want to talk about this and want to forget it, said the woman, according to what her daughter has stated in questioning.
Later, however, the woman told and a preliminary investigation against the man was started.
Was acquitted of a rape
The district court judged the woman’s story to be credible, but that it could not be ruled out that the perpetrator was someone else, and Shakir Mahmoud Shakir was therefore acquitted on that point.
The third alarm about Shakir Mahmoud Shakir is about a woman with home care to whom he came home in September even though there was no planned visit, the manager stated in the interrogation.
– He told her that she would be anointed and she spoke up and told him that it was strange, says the manager.
He then allegedly lubricated her legs up to her groin and bottom before the woman pointedly told him and he left. According to the manager, the woman has been asked to file a police report.
Shakir Mahmoud Shakir was sentenced to four years in prison for the rape of the 100-year-old woman. The prosecutor had requested deportation, which the district court refused.
