TV personality and entrepreneur Kimora Lee Simmons was shocked when she saw her daughter, supermodel Aoki Lee, kiss Vittorio Assaf, 44 years her senior.
– I think it is predatory behavior and quite crazy, she says in the podcast “Not skinny but not fat”.
In April 2024, pictures were published in American media when model Aoki Lee, 23, kissed 44-year-old restaurant owner Vittorio Assaf at St. Barth’s.
Shortly thereafter, the relationship was denied.
Her mother, television personality and entrepreneur Kimora Lee Simmons, 50, is now speaking for the first time about her feelings about her daughter’s romance.
– I let my children make their own mistakes, she says in the podcast “Not skinny but not fat”.
“So shocking”
Simmons has known Vittorio Assaf since she was a child and when she found out about the romance, she questioned what he was doing with her daughter.
– I found out about this at the same time as the rest of the world, that’s what was so shocking, says Simmons in the podcast.
– There was a lot to take in. But I think generally, when it comes to things like that, and having gone through it myself, not exactly the same thing but something similar. The thing about a big age difference in a relationship, let’s call it that. I think it’s predatory behavior.
