Dennis Hildeby Achieves First NHL Shutout as Swedish Goalie

Goalkeeper Dennis Hildeby became a hero for the Toronto Maple Leafs.

The 24-year-old from Södermanland kept his first clean sheet in his 15th NHL game.

The Toronto Maple Leafs defeated the Tampa Bay Lightning at home in Ontario 2–0.

Dennis Hildeby played great, made 29 shots and was named the match’s best player (first star).

– It was a really nice victory. They are having a lot of fun right now and that makes me very happy, says Dennis Hildeby.

The family supports at home

In his third season in the Canadian big club, he steps forward as one of the younger Swedish goalkeepers who impresses.
