World famous pop star Justin Bieber came to visit North Iceland in the spring of 2025 to record his new album. He stayed at the luxurious Deplar Farm in Fljótin, a remote resort surrounded by snow-capped mountains. Deplar Farm, run by Eleven Experiences, offers musicians the chance to record at Flóki Studio. The house has a long history in the local community in Fljótin and has been renovated to a world-class recording studio, with views to the coastline and mountains.
While recording the album, footage was shot that was then used for the music video for the song FIRST PLACE. Published on August 13th, it already has close to 2 million views in just 24 hours. Sit back, enjoy a great song and even greater views as Bieber experiences the nature of North Iceland, enjoys activities like heli-skiing, biking, bathing in the geothermally heated water and more.
