A reality TV contestant is charged with multiple counts of aggravated child rape.
According to the indictment, he allegedly subjected his stepdaughter to over 240 abuses.
“Through this, XX has shown particular recklessness and brutality,” the prosecutor states in the indictment.

A man, who was part of a major Swedish reality show, is charged with several cases of aggravated rape against a child, rape against a child and aggravated rape.
He has sexually exploited his stepdaughter for seven years, according to the indictment.
The abuse is said to have started when she was 12 years old, and over the years the man is said to have continued to prey on the girl, who is now an adult, until November 2024.
It concerns over 240 abuses, according to the indictment, of which over 100 of them involve abuse of children.

“The crime should be assessed as serious with regard to the parties’ relationship to each other, as the acts were committed in the plaintiff’s home and as the abuse took place systematically over a long period of time”, writes the prosecutor in the indictment.
The evidence includes Swish transactions, calls and text messages between the man and the stepdaughter, according to the indictment.
The police have also confiscated several massage sticks, which are believed to be evidence.
Chamber prosecutor: “A long prison sentence”
Chamber prosecutor Peter Engström writes in an email that they have a good level of evidence.
“I have made the assessment that I can expect a conviction.”
Engström writes that the large amount of suspicion makes the crime stand out.
“With regard to the seriousness of the crime, we are talking about a long prison sentence – my understanding is that the practice for this type of suspicion is about 10 years”writes the prosecutor.
The man denies any wrongdoing.
