Four are charged with racist acts of violence

Four young men are charged with having committed unprovoked violence on the night of August 27 this year.

The motive has been to offend the plaintiffs because of race, skin color or national or ethnic origin, according to the prosecutor.

– Some of the men can be seen making Nazi salutes on surveillance footage and photos in connection with the acts, says prosecutor Gustav Andersson in a statement.

All four have connections to the Nazi active club milieu, according to the indictment.

– During house searches, we found material and symbols that show that all four have connections to a far-right movement, says Gustav Andersson.

It is about three occasions on the same night.

The men, who are between 20 and 24 years old, are suspected of having robbed a person and threatened his friend in central Stockholm in August this year.

According to the indictment, they have also subjected another person to serious assault.

Three of them are also charged with an assault on the subway.

All plaintiffs have a foreign background. They have no connection to each other.
