50 drivers ended up in Sweden by mistake
About 50 motorists in Denmark have accidentally driven into Sweden – so far, reports TV2.
The reason is new road work.
The last exit on the motorway before the tunnel towards the Öresund Bridge, at Kastrup Airport, is closed from Monday.
If you miss the exit before, you can’t regret it. Then you have to continue all the way across the bridge before you can turn around.
So far, a number of drivers have tried to solve the situation in various unorthodox ways.
– They do it by starting to reverse, make u-turns and everything possible, says Copenhagen police chief Jesper Frandsen to the Danish news agency Ritzau.
However, you do not have to pay the bridge toll.
– There have been some who have been a little stressed because people have to go to work, but otherwise the atmosphere is okay, says Jesper Frandsen.
