Many believe that Victor Eriksson is the best center back in the Swedish league.
Abdelrahman Boudah goes one step further.

It’s hard to get past Victor Eriksson right now.
If the opponents hit a high ball against a wrong-turned striker, the big centre-back wins everything in the main game. If they try a longer ball deep, no one runs past Eriksson anyway.
HBK’s super-fast attacking duo Naeem Mohammed and Yannick Agnero didn’t even have a chance against Pavle Vagic and – above all – Eriksson when Hammarby won 2–0. Bajen has the best defense in the Allsvenskan and kept a clean sheet once again. Bajen has thus only conceded nine goals in fourteen matches.
– It felt good. I felt like I won most of my duels, but so did everyone else on the team. We came out with the ball very often. We win the ball in every way, which means we can continue to attack. Really good match, says Eriksson.
“It’s an animal”
Afterwards, teammates raved about Eriksson’s performance. Abdelrahman Boudah went furthest, just shaking his head at Eriksson’s dominance.
– He can’t lose a duel. He’s an animal, says the striker, adding:
– I think he is the best center back in the Swedish league of all time. He is completely sick.
Boudah believes that the combination of strength and speed makes Eriksson unbeatable in the duel game.
– People don’t understand how crazy fast he is. But let them underestimate him, and they can keep trying to hit balls behind Victor. He’s absolutely brutal.
“He’s exaggerating…”
The midfielder, who rarely uses excessive language himself, laughs a little when he hears about Boudah’s comments.
– Hehe… Boudah is nice. He’s probably exaggerating a bit, but he thinks I’m good. I appreciate it and I feel like it’s gone very well. I’m happy for everyone who praises me.
Have you become a crowd favorite?
– I don’t know if I’m a crowd favorite, but I feel like I get a lot of love. People come to town and it’s great fun. I hope I can continue to perform so that the fans continue to be happy with me.
