Official: Degerfors fires coach
William Lundin is fired by Degerfors.
The club announced the news on Thursday afternoon.
Sportbladet was able to reveal that William Lundin risked being fired from Degerfors.
The reason: Part of the dissatisfaction is said to be that he has lost part of the locker room where some key players have been unhappy for a long time.
A while later it became official.
The motivation behind the decision is that the company has concluded that this is the best way forward.
Who will take over is currently unclear.
“Degerfors IF is currently working to find solutions to the coaching issue in both the short and long term. As soon as a decision has been made on the coaching issue, the association will communicate this,” the club writes on its website.
Degerfors is eleventh in the Swedish league with thirteen points after twelve rounds. William Lundin took the club back to the top during his first year on the coaching bench.
