Influencer Guava Beauty dies of sudden illness
Influencer “Guava Beauty” was known for eating strange things in her Instagram posts.
Thousands of followers watched her eat makeup and other products she was testing.
She passed away at the end of May – of a “sudden illness”
Taiwanese influencer Guava Shuishui, known as Guava Beauty, built a large following through her “mukbang” videos. In the clips, she tested various beauty products such as lipstick, blush, face masks and cotton pads – and then ate them in front of the camera. She then gave her opinion, both in terms of the product’s primary use and taste.
On her social media, her family announced that she died on May 24, after suffering a “sudden illness,” writes the Daily Mail. The exact cause of death has not been announced.
“Although this came suddenly, Shuishui persevered through every difficult moment, just as she always did – hardworking, serious and radiant. Thank you to everyone who has liked her, left messages and laughed with her, and thank you for your love and support. She truly carried it in her heart and treasured it deeply,” the family writes.
“Guava Shuishui simply continues to shine in another place. When we meet again one day, she’ll probably be unpacking the angels’ exclusive makeup for the next eating video.”
Guava Shuishui turned 24 years old.
